TALROO
COMPANY OVERVIEW
ROLE:
I was the Sr. Visual and web designer working closely with a small team of 2-3 web developers, product managers, and marketing managers. I led the UX direction and product design for Talroo Events and TAP.
UI/UX for website/mobile
Prototyping & mockups (Figma & Sketch)
Infographics and data visualizations
Product pages and web silos
Interactive design and motion graphics
Brand & creative direction
Talroo stands out as the leading data-driven job advertising platform in the United States, facilitating over 2 billion job searches monthly across numerous sites. While Jobs2Careers is just one facet of the Talroo ecosystem, despite the promising start marked by strong branding and visuals. The issue at hand was inconsistency. The absence of a centralized component library meant our developers had to craft custom elements repeatedly.
With SEO improvement objectives in early 2020, numerous SEO silos were swiftly established. Notably, during this period, there was a lack of web designer involvement in this process. As the sole designer stepping into this scenario, my responsibility extended to redesigning the site's architecture, formulating a unified brand guideline, and developing comprehensive documentation.
Problem Statement:
Proposed Solution
We worked on establishing a visual guide and library to maintain a cohesive aesthetic throughout our projects. Designing templates ensured a consistent look and feel across the website. We transitioned from Sketch to Figma, aiming for scalability within both the product and marketing teams. A handoff process was set to enhance team collaboration and efficiency.
Following discussions with the customer success and business teams, we implemented a solution to address frequently asked questions by creating dedicated pages for FAQs and resources. To enhance user experience and optimize the site for search engines, a single page was strategically designed to showcase all three products, incorporating segmentation for improved SEO and usability.
MatchMeJobs App
Based on insights gathered from prior surveys and user interviews at J2C, MatchmeJobs emerged as the proposed solution to bridge the gap between job seekers and hiring companies. Once users completed the match quiz, they would be connected with companies that aligned with their preferred location, salary expectations, and desired job titles. Given constraints in budget and time, a significant portion of user testing was conducted in-house, leveraging the expertise of the customer success team. Their valuable insights shed light not only on the B2B perspective but also on the experiences of new hires. See the Jobs2Career case study to learn more about this project. Click Here ->
